Everybody

Everybody was an event held in February 2025 to thank the owners and employees of businesses in my hometown for showing me and some of my naturist friends kindness and acceptance over the last few years. A local bar hosted us, and naturist performers provided the entertainment for around 110 dressed guests. A big thanks to:

• Pete and Jane for hosting us

Anna Sharpe-Jones for her brand new comedy clown act

• Mark Bass, the president of British Naturism, for his heartfelt talk on what naturism means to people and why it might be good for you.

Andrew Twyman for closing the night with his soulful cabaret infused blues music (and for having the courage to stay naked and play a second set later in the evening when the doors opened to the wider public).

“My first time nude in public was surprisingly relaxing. I’m not sure what I expected initially. But, it was overall a positive experience for me. I enjoyed the curiosity of conversations I had with the public.”
Lucy Lou

“Performing naked is an act of liberation and resistance. The Clown gives the added layer of naivity about societal conventions and perceptions of the naked body, which it can play with and subvert. I wanted to reframe nudity, pose questions and invite curiosity. Often, all people need is permission.”
Anna Sharpe-Jones

“I was performing naked to a crowd of naturists and curious clothed people. They were a wonderfully warm audience. It was an unforgettable experience. As a performer you spend a fair amount of time considering how you want to project your image with clothing, so it was liberating to be presenting myself as I am in my totally natural state”
